Owners of a Ventura, California - based company offering electric golf cars and battery powered caddies have launched a new company: Dogleg - a series of electric bikes that offer state-of-the-art technology at affordable prices.

Dogleg offers a variety of electric bikes: Commuter European style, Mountain Bike Sports style and Fold Up - Portable style. Each model is  equipped with a twist grip throttle, brushless hub motor and a lithium ion battery - technology typically seen in electric bikes priced far higher than the $995-$1,195 price range Dogleg is offering.
